One hour with a habituated mountain gorilla family — the most moving wildlife encounter in Africa.
Rangers lead small groups of up to eight into the bamboo and cloud forest of the Virungas to find one of twelve habituated gorilla families. The trek takes one to five hours; the hour you spend with the family — silverback, mothers and tumbling infants — stays with you for life.
