Most visitors can get a Rwanda visa on arrival or online. Here is how it works and what to bring.
Who needs a visa?

A 30-day single-entry tourist visa, paid on arrival or online in advance.
Citizens of many countries — including most of Africa, the Commonwealth and several others — can enter visa-free or get a visa on arrival. Rules change, so we confirm the latest for your passport when we plan your trip.
The East Africa Tourist Visa
If you are also visiting Uganda or Kenya, the East Africa Tourist Visa ($100) covers all three countries for 90 days. Apply online before travel and enter first through the country that issued it.
What to bring
A passport valid for six months with two blank pages, your return ticket, and — if arriving from a yellow fever risk country — a yellow fever certificate.
